Every bride who sits down in my salon asks me the same thing before anything else: baji, total kitna hoga? It is a fair question and I would rather answer it properly than give a vague number and surprise you later.

So here is how bridal pricing actually works in Lahore, written by someone who does these bookings every wedding season, not someone guessing from the internet.

What bridal makeup costs in Lahore right now

Across the city you will broadly find three tiers. I am being honest about where we sit.

Tier Per event What you are paying for
Home-based / beginner artist ₨5,000 – ₨12,000 Cheapest option. Quality swings a lot. Often local-market products and no backup artist if something goes wrong.
Trained salon artist (this is us) ₨15,000 – ₨30,000 A trained artist, branded HD products, proper hair styling and dupatta setting, salon hygiene, a written booking.
Celebrity / big-name studio ₨50,000 – ₨150,000+ The name itself, and usually a studio team. Often the owner does not personally do your face unless you pay extra.

Our own bridal rates start here, and they include hair and draping rather than adding them on afterwards:

Bridal makeup (per event) From ₨15,000
Full bridal season package From ₨25,000
Starting prices, checked September 2026. Final quote depends on how many events you book and whether you want extras like pre-bridal or family makeup. Confirm current pricing on WhatsApp at 0328-0088408.

Why one salon says ₨15,000 and another says ₨70,000

This confuses brides more than anything else, so let me break down what the price is actually made of:

  • Who physically touches your face. In big studios the famous name is a brand. Ask directly: will *you* do my makeup, or a team member? Both can be fine, but the price should reflect it.
  • The products. HD foundation, a good primer and setting spray cost real money. Cheap quotes usually mean local-market or expired product, which is what causes that grey, ashy look in photos.
  • Whether hair and dupatta are included. Some quotes are face only. Hair styling and dupatta setting then get added, and suddenly your ₨12,000 is ₨20,000.
  • Number of events. A one-event booking always costs more per event than a package.
  • Travel. If the artist comes to your home or a hall across the city, travel and early-morning timing get priced in.
  • Season. December and the wedding-season weekends are peak. Book early and you lock the rate.

What should be included — ask before you pay the booking amount

Before you send anyone an advance, get these in writing on WhatsApp. A screenshot has settled many arguments.

  • Makeup for the bride — foundation type (HD or airbrush), eyes, lashes, contour
  • Hair styling — the actual style you want, not "simple bun"
  • Dupatta setting and jewellery placement
  • How many hours the artist stays, and whether touch-up before the rukhsati is included
  • Whether false lashes are included or charged separately
  • How many family members are covered, and the rate for extra faces
  • Exact arrival time, and what happens if your event runs late

The one line that saves brides money

Ask: "Is this the final amount, or will anything be added on the day?" Say it exactly like that. Any honest artist will answer straight away.

The three-event package almost always makes sense

If you have mehndi, barat and walima within the same week, booking them together is cheaper than three separate bookings, usually by a noticeable margin. More importantly, the same artist sees your skin three times in a week. She already knows your undertone, how your skin behaves under the lights, and which lash suits your eye. The barat look comes out better because of the mehndi day, not despite it.

It also removes the worst bridal-week stress: coordinating three different people around three different timings.

Where I see brides waste money

  • Booking the most expensive name without seeing their work on your skin tone. Look for photos of brides with colouring like yours, in normal light, not heavily edited.
  • Skipping the trial to save ₨4,000, then panicking on barat morning. A trial is the cheapest insurance you will buy for your whole wedding.
  • Paying for a "pre-bridal package" of ten random treatments a week before. Facials that close to the event can break you out. Start pre-bridal work six to eight weeks out or do not bother.
  • Adding six family members at the last minute. Tell your artist the real head count at booking. On-the-day additions cost more and rush your own timing.

What we include at Oscar Fari Salon

So you can compare fairly against anyone else you are considering. Our bridal booking covers the makeup, hair styling, dupatta setting and jewellery placement, and we stay for the send-off touch-up. We use branded HD products, we open fresh lashes for every bride, and we sanitise brushes between clients. If you want airbrush instead of HD, tell us at the trial and we will show you both on half your face so you can see the difference yourself.

We are in Green Cap Housing Scheme, right by Metro Gajumatta Station on Ferozepur Road, so brides from Gajumata, Kahna, Model Town, Nishter Colony and Township can reach us without crossing the city at 6am.

How to get a real quote in five minutes

  1. 1 WhatsApp us on 0328-0088408 with your event dates.
  2. 2 Tell us which events you need — mehndi, barat, walima, nikah, or all of them.
  3. 3 Send two or three photos of the look you like, and one clear photo of your own face in daylight with no makeup.
  4. 4 Tell us how many family members need makeup.
  5. 5 We send back a written quote with everything itemised. If it works, a booking amount holds your date.
